What is your favorite way to exercise?  There are many ways, but one that a lot of people find especially enjoyable is rock climbing. Rock climbing is one of the most challenging sports. It involves a lot of strength, patience and endurance. The challenge for climbers is to get to the top of a rock or cliff while avoiding injury. You have to be physically fit in order to climb, but you also need mental fortitude – it can take hours or days before reaching the top! Rock climbing has been around since people first started exploring our surroundings thousands of years ago. And like many other sports that were born out of necessity (e.g., hunting), it became popular because it’s fun! What is your favorite way to exercise?  There are many ways, but one that a lot of people find especially helpful both mentally and physically is Taekwondo. Taekwondo builds strength and agility by incorporating punches, basic and advanced kicks, blocks, jumping and spinning kicks (for example, the spinning back kick). It also improves cardiovascular fitness with repeated jumps and aerobic activity. For an even more intense workout, you can try sparring/fighting which provides a challenging balance of aerobic and anaerobic exercise while improving power output in short bursts. The other great thing about Taekwondo is that it’s fun! You’ll learn new skills every day as well as meet fellow students who will become lifelong friends because they share your passion for martial arts as well as health. What is your favorite way to exercise?  There are many ways, but one that a lot of people find especially enjoyable is cycling. One of the reasons they enjoy it so much is because bicycling offers a diverse range of benefits for the body and mind. It provides aerobic exercise which can help improve lung function, endurance, cardiovascular health and bone strength. Cycling also helps strengthen muscles in the arms, legs and back while providing weight-bearing exercises for bones in the feet. Taekwondo is a popular and diverse Korean martial art that has evolved over time, with three major bodies governing the sport: the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF), International Taekwondo federation (ITF) and American Taekwondoa Association (ATA).
